Assistant Professor of Music Theory (Continuing Track), School of Music The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Delaware seeks an Assistant Professor of Music Theory, continuing track. This is a full-time, fully benefited position with a focus on teaching. The successful candidate will possess an inclusive perspective on the field of music theory with pedagogical competence to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Earned doctorate (PhD or DMA) in music theory or composition preferred; ABDs will be considered but hired at the rank of Instructor. Applicants should have a record of university-level teaching experience; and show evidence of student-centered, and progressive teaching practices. We encourage applicants from underrepresented communities within the disciplines of music theory and composition.

Specific areas of interest may include larger-scale organisms and issues (e.g., population–global scales) such as fisheries oceanography, marine ecology (e.g., molecular physiology, quantitative/theoretical ecology, population dynamics), biomechanics/functional morphology, and aquaculture.
